It was opening day of the youth hunt and he was where he wanted to be. As he layed amongst the few rows of remaining corn, the sun beaming gently upon his face, he began to tire waiting to see what would come out next so he set his alarm, put in his headphones and fell asleep...

He Never Woke Up

Jeffery described himself as “Adventurous” and yes that is the best word to describe him. He was an avid sportsman that included hunting and fishing everything he could. He even bagged his 1st deer at only age 5. Jeffery was an AVID OUTDOORS MAN.

Jeffery Lewis Powell, 13, of Elkton, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 in Chandler Twp doing what he loved...hunting.

Jeffery was born January 12, 2007 in Saginaw to Tracy Ann Bieri and Jeffery Louis Powell. He was an 8th grade student at Laker Middle School where he played on the 7th-8th grade football team and was State Champion on the Laker Archery Team. Jeffery was an accomplished young hunter, fisherman, and archer. He also enjoyed online gaming and Xbox. He was a hard working and hard playing young man.
